I have a lot of roles in my life, which have made my health and fitness take a backseat. I went back to school for my bachelor's degree in nursing when my first child was 6 months old. I finished school 1 month after giving birth to my second child. I took a "desk" job in nursing after that to have more time with my children. Not spending as much time on my feet has definitely caught up with me. I had lost all of my baby weight from breastfeeding my second child by the time he was a year. Sadly, I have gained it all back. I weigh the same weight now as I did the day I went home from the hospital. My clothes are tight and I am even still wearing some of my maternity clothes. My solution to feeling this way? I started working out! I busted my butt everyday to wake up at 4:45 AM and go to the gym. In addition, I have been maintaining a 1400 kcal diet. The result? I gained 2 lbs! Not fair right?

Working in healthcare I work with a LOT of women. A couple of my fellow nurses (one is a nurse practitioner) have sworn that Yoli works and so I gave in, spent the money and am on my Yoli life transformation journey. On day one they have you take measurements and set a goal.

My goal: FIT MY PANTS!

I have always been a confident person. I honestly don't even own a scale because worrying about a number on a scale has never been a concern of mine. What matters to me is looking and feeling good. I started Yoli because I am confident it will help my achieve those things. I decided to start a blog because I want to share with the world my journey and hopefully help other struggling mothers who are sharing in my desperation to get their energy and self esteem back.
